DAY 1
(Black top H&M, Skirt Top Shop, Belt and Doc Marten's from Good Sammy's, scarf Forever New I think)
Okay day one and this is already seeming pretty bloody stupid! I think I totally forgot I hate having my picture taken and taking my own seems even worse! Well the outfit is pretty safe, just easing my way into things, i haven't worn that skirt for a long time, but its from when I lived in London so I love it. Probably shouldn't have used the Doc's straight away... I found these at the op shop and was super excited because I lost the ones I had in high school, I wish i could find those.. they were all worn in an comfortable. Might look for a pic of me wearing my docs at school, everyone had a pair back then and I only wore those or my converse all stars and nothing else. (P.S. to all my friends who I am about to message and tell you to check out my blog; I know this whole thing is incredibly geeky so please don't take the piss out of me too much!)

Sorry about this one......

Okay so i know everyones already been going on about Jethro cave and are on to something new, but I dont care I'm still in love!
The Big Idea
Okay so one of the main ideas I wanted to blog about is of course that I am drowning in things. Clothing mainly but just stuff in general, stuff just seems to follow me home. You know how they say people only use 10% of their brains, well I think I only use 10% of my wardrobe... (which hopefully is an exaggeration, but we shall find out!) I seem to collect clothes and shoes and stuff like an old lady collects spoons.
So... My big idea is to wear every piece of clothing, footwear and accessories i own without repeating (excluding underwear because im obviously going to have to wash and re-wear some of that) until i run out of clothes. I have no idea how long that will take... anything that I find is totally unwearable I am going to donate to the salvos, (maybe they can sell it for cleaning rags?)
Despite being in possession of a fashion Design diploma, I tend to think of my style as fairly conservative, so the more 'out there' pieces in my wardrobe tend to get pushed to the back. So really its going to be a test of my styling skills and my comfort zone, so should be interesting ( I hope)
Also I have also just returned to studying so... budget is tight, my clothes are mostly high street and opshop finds, with a few handmade pieces thrown in.
Here we go..
Hmm well.. the first post, i have no idea why this feels nerve-racking but i have a few ideas i wanted to get out there so i thought this would be a good place to start.
I am a woman of few words generally so lets just get to the pictures!

Not sure why i'm starting of with Virginia Woolf, but I came across this picture tonight and its beautiful, i had never thought of her as a particularly beautiful woman before. I have tried (unsuccesfully) to read her work before, the whole stream of consiousnous thing is just crazy to get your head around for a whole novel. I suppose i shall try again when I have some time on my hands, even if its just to prove to myself that I'm not a complete idiot.
